50 Years of the Salzburg Easter Festival - 2017 programme presented

The year 2017 marks the 50th anniversary season of the Salzburg Easter Festival. A re-creation of the 1967 Walküre production ist the center stage of the programme.

Carlos Álvarez will replace Dmitri Hvorostovsky in the role of Iago

Unfortunately Dmitri Hvorostovsky has to cancel his participation in the Otello production due to continuing cancer treatment. Carlos Álvarez will sing the role of Iago.
