Patrons Association

For over 40 years the members of the Patrons’ Association have made a major financial contribution to the idea and further existence of the Salzburg Easter Festival and thus ensure that the founding philosophy of this unique festival can be continued in the future. The Easter Festival was founded on the idea of presenting performances of the highest artistic standard and with sophisticated programme planning based on exclusivity.

The Association of Patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival is made up of many arts-loving personalities from all over the world who by their support are jointly committed to ensuring that the Salzburg Easter Festival can continue to fulfil its cultural aims.

In the Association of Patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival exclusivity is of great importance which means that as a member of the Patrons’ Association you enjoy several exclusive advantages, for instance:

  • Priority booking annually for one series of performances, consisting of three orchestral concerts and an opera at the Salzburg Easter Festival
  • The chance to attend a rehearsal by the Berlin Philharmonic held especially for patrons

  • Admission to the exclusive Patrons’ Lounge in the Grosses Festspielhaus

The Salzburg Easter Festival offers young people up to the age of 35 the chance to join the Association of Patrons of the Salzburg Easter Festival for a reduced annual fee amounting to € 50. Besides the right to priority booking for a subscription in price category V, young patrons enjoy all the other advantages of being a patron as listed above.
